The Original SoakShield Rope was created for the window tint industry by window tinters. It was designed to protect a vehicle’s internal surfaces and electronics from water used during the installation process.
The SoakShield is made of interwoven microfiber strands that absorb and trap water.
Simply stretch out the rope and tuck it between the base of the windshield and dashboard edge to prevent water from seeping behind the dashboard and causing electrical damage.
The Original SoakShield is 5′ long and is suitable for average cars (coupes & sedans) and compact crossovers / SUVs. Other sizes include XL for larger vehicles and Mini which is 30% thinner and suitable for tighter spaces and rear decks.
There are many imitations. Accept no substitutes.
