About EPD
Who is EPD?
Energy Products Distribution is a Master Distributor of 3M Window Films, 3M Paint Protection Films, 3M Wrap Films, 3M Architectural Finishes, 3M Ceramic Coatings, and Bray Windshield Skin Protection Films. We sell our various products to professional installers throughout the United States who provide turnkey installations (labor and material) to end-users in the automotive, commercial, government, and residential markets.
Our History
EPD was founded in 1985 as one of 11 original Master Distributors of 3M Window Films. EPD’s original distribution territory included the Mid-Atlantic states of Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and New Jersey. Since then we have grown to service the entire contiguous United States with many of the products we sell.

What We Offer Our Dealers
We have never been a traditional “box distributor.” Rather, we seek to add value to our dealers’ businesses by selling quality products, offering exceptional customer service, and creating end-user awareness for the films and finishes we distribute.

We have developed numerous sales demonstration tools to help dealers sell our films and finishes.
- The Gravelator is a portable impact damage simulator that shows how paint protection film prevents paint damage caused by road rash.
- A freestanding and rotating heat lamp display that demonstrates the heat rejection capabilities of various automotive window films.
Installation, Sales & Marketing Training
Our industry training academy, EPD University, provides hands-on installation training for the various automotive and architectural films and coatings that we distribute. Successful students graduate with either a certificate of completion or a manufacturer’s certification.
