3M Ceramic Coating & Paint Correction

EPD offers a one (1) day hands-on installation training course designed to expose the trainee to the basics of paint correction and ceramic coating application.

Paint correction is usually a pre-requisite for ceramic coating application and refers to the restoration and removal of flaws (swirl marks, scratches, etc) from a car’s paint. We will demonstrate a two-stage correction process using a dual action machine. (Although paint correction can be taken to extreme levels, this class will help prepare you to repair mildly damaged paint to the point where 3M Ceramic Coating can be applied.)

After completing paint correction training, we will review ceramic coating application. We will cover vehicle preparation, tools, and application procedures for paint, plastics, and windshields. Comprehensive details regarding material composition and warranty will also be covered.
