3M FASARA Shutie

3M FASARA Shutie (SH2FGST) is a striped decorative film that is ideal for adding privacy while still allowing natural light to pass through your windows to illuminate your space. Shutie features a Visible Light Transmittance of 67% and a Visible Light Reflectance of 22%, permitting adequate visible light to enter the space while blocking out at least 99% of harmful UV light. Studies suggest that unlike artificial light sources, natural light promotes improved productivity and wellbeing. By boosting Vitamin D levels, improving quality of sleep, and elevating mood, natural light is important for optimal health and happiness.

A frosted stripe decorative film like 3M FASARA Shutie can also be installed to enhance interior design, breathing new life into tired spaces. Shutie features 2.5-mm wide vertical stripes alternating in two different opacities. Between each frosted bar is a 2-mm wide transparent stripe. The effect is similar to vertical blinds, but with improved natural light and visibility and moderate privacy.

FASARA Shutie could be used to promote safety in office environments featuring clear glass partitions, walls, or doors where collision risk is a concern. The striped film can be custom cut and applied to interior glass surfaces to subtly enhance visibility and reduce the risk of accidental collision with the glass.

FASARA Shutie striped decorative finish was tested according to ASTM E84 and is classified with a Class A Fire Rating as defined in NFPA 101: Life Safety Code.

The more opaque stripe in the Shutie pattern has the same color as Luce.
