The Mini SoakShield Rope was created for the window tint industry by window tinters. It was designed to protect a vehicle’s internal surfaces and electronics from water used during the installation process.
The SoakShield is made of interwoven microfiber strands that absorb and trap water.
Simply stretch out the rope and tuck it between the base of the windshield and dashboard edge to prevent water from seeping behind the dashboard and causing electrical damage.
The Mini SoakShield is 5′ long and is 30% thinner than the Original (SS-OG), making it appropriate for tighter spaces and rear decks. It is suitable for average cars (coupes & sedans) and compact crossovers / SUVs. Other sizes include XL (SS-XL) for larger vehicles and Original (SS-OG).
