3M DI-NOC Architectural Finishes

A Low-Cost, High-Impact Alternative to Building Renovation

Office space needs updating from time to time to make it more attractive to existing and prospective tenants. However, traditional renovations are expensive to building owners and disruptive to tenants. That’s why 3M Company introduced its DI-NOC Architectural Finishes. You can refresh existing surfaces (doors, ceilings, walls, furniture, etc) at a fraction of the cost of replacement and without the associated disruption.

3M Architectural Finishes Offer Versatility in Style and Application

3M DI-NOC Architectural Finishes simulate a variety of natural and synthetic materials and can be installed on most any non-porous surface, inside or outside, such as a hotel door. Within an hour we can transform a damaged door into something that looks virtually new.

DI-NOC doesn’t work for just doors. Typical installation areas include:

01. Doors
02. Desks
03. Elevator Cabs
04. Countertops
05. Hallways
06. Walls
07. Ceiling Panel Systems
08. Restroom Partitions
09. Whiteboards

3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes have a durable surface that is easy to clean, maintain, and repair. Similar to stainless steel and other hard, non-porous surfaces, DI-NOC™ can be cleaned with typical commercial grade cleaners and disinfectants known, according to their product labels, to destroy or suppress the growth of harmful microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, or fungi, without deterioration of the surface finish. For a full list of tested and compatible cleaners and disinfectants, including 3M™ Cleaners and Disinfectants, please reference pages 3-5 of the 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes Technical Datasheet. DI-NOC™ is recommended for use on doors, walls, columns, cabinets, front desks, and any areas where design, durable function, and cleanability are needed.

DI-NOC Architectural Finishes in Hotels

A great example of how 3M Architectural Finishes can refresh commercial interiors is hotel doors. Hotel rooms are areas highly trafficked by guests, housekeeping, and engineering. That leaves doors vulnerable, especially to the guest luggage that often hit doors. Within a short period of time, an expensive fire-rated hotel door looks tattered and in need of replacement. That’s no inexpensive task, especially when you consider that the room will need to remain vacant during replacement. A vacant room doesn’t generate revenue for the hotel.
