3M Dichroic Glass Film

An Affordable Alternative to Dichroic Glass

Glass doesn’t need to be clear and colorless. That’s why the glazing industry introduced dichroic architectural glass many years ago. It changes color when viewed at different angles. Yet the technology that makes color change possible ultimately makes dichroic glass cost prohibitive. Enter 3M Dichroic Glass Finishes.

3M’s value-engineered dichroic film installed on clear glass (new or existing, inside or outside) duplicates the look of dichroic glass at a fraction of the price of the real thing – usually 10% ($15 / sq ft of film vs. $150 / sq ft of glass).

That spells significant cost savings and resources left over to devote to other areas of a project.
