Jim Passage

Jim made his career having represented 3M's window film portfolio in multiple capacities since 1984. He was introduced to the industry by his uncle who was an authorized 3M dealer. As a commercial sales rep, Jim sold insulating window films to large buildings in Buffalo, NY. His close rate was so high that dealers across the US were made aware of his success in hope that it could be duplicated. From there he became a distributor rep, finding and setting up 3M window film dealers in the Northeast and Midwest US, many of whom are still active to this day. In the late 1990s, Jim joined 3M Company as a Sales Representative / Territory Manager where he created commercial end-user awareness and managed 3M's dealer network along the East Coast. He retired from 3M in late 2022 but wasn't ready to retire from the window film industry. He naturally transitioned into the role of Territory Manager at EPD and picked up where he left off at 3M.
