The 3M DI-NOC Architectural Finishes Preferred Installer Program is comprised of two elements: a two-day training course and a one-day testing session.
Two-day training: We will cover the skills and knowledge necessary to apply DI-NOC architectural films in an interior design setting. Completion of the training will allow participants to complete DI-NOC applications using appropriate materials, tools, and techniques. Applications include, but are not limited to, flat surfaces, door wrapping, complex curves, corners, and more. In addition to application techniques, other training topics include surface preparation, installation considerations, and maintenance and repair recommendations.
One-day testing: Successful completion of this test earns participants 3M’s DI-NOC Architectural Finishes Preferred Installer designation. This one-day test is comprised of nine different application stations that participants are required to successfully complete. Application techniques tested are taught during the training session. Participation in the training and testing does not guarantee earning the 3M DI-NOC Architectural Finishes Preferred Installer designation.
