Class Description: The 3M DI-NOC Architectural Finishes Preferred Installer Program is comprised of two elements: a two day training course and a one day testing session.

Days 1 & 2: Training: We will cover the skills and knowledge necessary to apply DI-NOC architectural films in an interior design setting. Completion of the training will allow participants to complete DI-NOC applications using appropriate materials, tools and techniques. Applications include, but are not limited to, flat surfaces, door wrapping, complex curves, corners and more. In addition to application techniques, other training topics include surface preparation, installation considerations, and maintenance and repair recommendations.

Day 3: Testing: Successful completion of this test earns participants 3M’s DI-NOC Architectural Finishes Preferred Installer designation. This one-day test is comprised of 8 different application stations that participants are required to successfully complete. Application techniques tested are taught during the training session. Participation in the training and testing does not guarantee earning the 3M DI-NOC Architectural Finishes Preferred Installer designation.

Class Description: EPD offers a one (1) day hands-on installation training course designed to expose the trainee to the basics of paint correction and ceramic coating application.

Paint correction is usually a pre-requisite for ceramic coating application and refers to the restoration and removal of flaws (swirl marks, scratches, etc) from a car’s paint. We will demonstrate a two-stage correction process using a dual action machine. (Although paint correction can be taken to extreme levels, this class will help prepare you to repair mildly damaged paint to the point where 3M Ceramic Coating can be applied.)

After completing paint correction training, we will review ceramic coating application. We will cover vehicle preparation, tools, and application procedures for paint, plastics, and windshields. Comprehensive details regarding material composition and warranty will also be covered.

Class Description: EPD offers a two (2) day hands-on installation training course for the trainee to learn the most exacting standards and best practices for protecting vehicle surfaces from chips, scratches, and weathering through the installation of 3M Paint Protection Film. You will leave with a Certificate of Completion. When you have mastered your installation techniques after some practice, you can take the next step to further your accreditation by successfully passing an installation test within twelve (12) months of your original training. Once you have passed the test, you will receive the title of 3M Paint Protection Film Preferred Installer.
